Our Mandate

Promoting Reading Culture In Children

We have designed a 7-Day Summer Reading Camp in August to help your child/Ward to embrace reading Culture and its importance to personal development. It is a new way to learn with powerful expositions from professionals, achievers, leaders, authors, and motivational speakers.

Let’s jointly groom tomorrow’s leaders through reading, today!

2021 SCRC is the 4th edition of The SixthSense Initiative programme by Sixth Sense Series Publications, previous editions have recorded tremendous success and encouraging feedbacks. We have continuously improved our schedules, schemes and modus operandi to help our Campers to develop, learn and change toward good reading culture.

Our Mandate

We have created a lifelong 7-Day Summer Children Reading Camp that will equip your child/ward – step by step – to read in a new and unique way, by utilising the Camp environment and social interactions among their peers in the hands of caregivers.

We’ll show them how to cultivate good reading habits that can lead to writing, its skills and continued reading Culture through our module.

More than a fifth of children from throughout Nigeria stepped away from their homes to participate in the SixthSense Initiative's breakthrough "Children Summer Reading Camp." As one of the main speakers was myself, who encouraged kids to enhance their self-esteem and self-image. They were committed to being a serious reader in order to enhance various life skills.

I still preferred the maiden programme of 2018 to 2019 edition. I hope this year episode will be an improvement of the maiden. She added that her sister and I were part of the SCRC Programme.

I had a very great experience in the 2019 Summer Children Reading Campe held at the NobelHouse College, Abeokuta. I gained a lot of reading skills and social skills and it also made me independent and it made reading to become a lifelong habit for me. The founders should try to make it possible for the less privileged children who would also wish to participate either by sponsoring or reducing the cost of registration.
