12 Sep Twin brothers float ‘720 Degree Hub’ in Ogun – Daily Trust
Twin brothers and Information Technology experts, Taiwo and Kehinde Ogundeyi have launched an innovation hub, 720 Degree Hub, as part of moves to drive innovations among youths in Ogun State. Taiwo and Kehinde who are the Directors of GMGTECH, noted that hub was to solve social, economic and other challenges, adding that they are poised to create wealth and job using digital business as a tool.
Speaking in Abeokuta at launch of the hub, Kehinde Ogundeyi noted that the initiative would also assist the digital transformation process embarked upon by Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
He said “We want to leverage on technology to drive this innovation but before we can do this we have to create a community, community of innovators, tech professionals, expert, government who will come together to be able to work on any idea.” The Former Head of Service in the State, Elder Olusola Adeyemi appealed to the Federal Government to encourage youth by reducing the alarming unemployment rate in the country. Adeyemi said: “We will not stop crying to the government to come to assist the youth because we all know that today the unemployment rate is alarming. It’s a time bomb that we must arrest on time before it explodes. We must do everything possible to make sure the youths are useful in the society.”
